In early 2009, Jason completed a site-specific painting installation at The I.V. Lab, a recording studio in Chicago. The installation is in the studio’s lounge where the musicians and recording artists relax and hang out between sessions. The music-themed installation includes 6 large canvases with connecting mural work on the walls and mounted tubing, constructed pieces, antique hardware, and other 3-d elements. The room started out with white walls, to which Jason applied a glazed finish. The paintings on canvas were then installed, and Jason airbrushed and painted all the mural work on the walls to tie everything together.  View slideshow of installation below.
