On November 8th 2011, Jason did a live painting performance at an art and music event at Coalition Gallery in Chicago, IL. The event was part of the new Arts Collaboration Series, organized and produced by Groupon and Jimmy Chamberlin, the former drummer of Smashing Pumpkins. The evening featured live music by Dawn Golden and Rosy Cross as well as an interpretative dance trio. That night, Jason created a new piece LIVE, titled Sonic Swan Deity (Acrylic, 48” x 36”), which he later finished in his studio.
